How do zombies poop?

Zombies, of course, don’t technically exist and therefore don’t actually need to or even can poop but, for the sake of asking, a potential answer could be that zombies do not poop because they have no functioning digestive system.

Zombies, as we know them, are living corpses with first-stage necrotic tissue that were infected by a virus or possibly some kind of parasite that reanimates them. This virus or parasite causes the tissue to reanimate, but it doesn’t bring the host back to life – it simplifies the body’s movement and physical functions without the need for the organs and functions associated with digestion.

Therefore, there is nothing to push out of the body, so the need to poop does not exist.

Do zombies pee?

It depends on which kind of zombie you’re talking about. In the traditional sense, Zombies are considered to be the reanimated dead and thus, don’t need to pee. However, in some modern zombie fiction, zombies are often portrayed as living, albeit undead, creatures, who do need to eat, sleep and urinate.

In this sense, it’s up to the writer to decide if their particular zombies need to pee or not. As far as real-life zombies, there is no evidence that they need to urinate, and so it is likely that they do not.

Are zombies deaf?

No, zombies are not deaf. Zombies, as depicted in fiction, are described as the reanimated corpses of the dead, with limited mental and physical abilities. There has been debate about the extent of the mental and physical capabilities of zombies, and whether or not they can be considered “alive,” but one thing that is agreed upon is that zombies are not deaf.

In fact, most media depictions of zombies show them as being able to hear loud sounds, as this is often used to frighten or motivate them. For instance, in The Walking Dead, loud noises such as gunshots and bells are often used to try and draw the zombies away from a particular area.

Can a zombie fart?

The answer is no, zombies cannot fart. Zombies are not living beings, but instead creatures or entities that are no longer alive. They are animated by a force other than the natural life force and have no internal organs or respiratory systems needed to process foods, drink liquids and pass wind.

Therefore, zombies cannot produce gas in the same way living beings do. However, this does not stop them from making loud and scary noises! In some horror films, zombies have been known to let out ghastly and otherworldly groans, grunts and shrieks.

What creature does not feel pain?

All animals can experience pain, although some animals may be more resistant to certain types of pain than others. For example, certain types of reptiles, such as iguanas, do not possess the same type of pain receptors that mammals have, and therefore may experience pain differently than humans do.

Additionally, many fish do not have the same type of nerve fibers needed to detect pain, which is why it’s common for fishermen to catch and release fish without causing any injury. On the other hand, some animals have an innate ability to minimize or ignore pain all together.

Lions, for example, have been known to tolerate extreme pain from wounds and can stay focused on their activities regardless. So, although not every animal experiences pain in the same way as humans, it’s safe to say that no creature does not feel pain.

Can zombies have feelings?

No, zombies cannot have feelings. The term “zombie” typically refers to non-living, reanimated creatures that are typically depicted as mindless and devoid of emotion or higher-level thought processes.

Although some ghouls or zombies in popular culture may require food or display some kind of behavior, they are still non-living creatures and cannot feel emotion the same way humans can. In addition, although there are some zombie films and books that attempt to create complex emotional subplots, these stories are typically viewed as metaphors for something else, not an actual representation of the emotionality of reanimated corpses.

How do you hurt a zombie?

The best way to hurt a zombie is to destroy its brain. This can be done by shooting a zombie with a firearm, bludgeoning the zombie with an object such as a blunt object or a melee weapon like an axe.

It is also possible to set a zombie on fire since a zombie does not feel pain, burning them will eventually cause its demise. If a zombie has been infected with a virus, the virus can be treated with antiviral medications or by destroying the infected portion of the body.

What part of the brain do zombies not have?

Zombies are fictional creatures usually portrayed as reanimated corpses driven by an insatiable hunger for human flesh, so it is impossible to answer this question definitively. However, given the common portrayal of zombies, it can be assumed that zombies do not possess the part of the brain responsible for higher-level thinking and decision-making known as the neocortex.

While zombies may still have many physical reflexes and be able to sense and respond to their environment, the lack of neocortex would prevent them from considering abstract concepts or exhibiting the kind of free will and problem solving that are essential to having a personality.

Therefore, it is likely that zombies do not have a functioning neocortex, allowing them to act purely on instinct rather than reason.

How do walkers digest?

Walkers are undead beings that reanimate a dead body, usually after death from a virus, which means they no longer digest food in the usual sense. Instead of digesting food, energy is obtained from the brains and spinal cords of their victims.

The food eaten by the walker is broken down for energy through a process of oxidative phosphorylation. Oxidative phosphorylation is when energy from molecules such as glucose or fatty acids is released as ATP (adenosine triphosphate).

This is done through a process called respiration in which electrons are transferred to an electron acceptor, usually oxygen. This releases energy that is then used to attach a phosphate group to an ADP (adenosine diphosphate) molecule.

This ATP can then be used for energy by the cell. Therefore, walkers do not actually digest food in the conventional sense, as they no longer have active digestive organs such as the stomach, salivary glands, pancreas, liver, and intestines, instead they break it down through a process of oxidative phosphorylation.

Do the walkers in The Walking Dead poop?

The canonical answer to this question is that we simply don’t know for sure, as it has never been directly addressed in the TV show or other Walking Dead media. However, it can be assumed that walkers do not need to excrete waste, as they are no longer living and functioning organisms.

Their physiology and biology has very much been changed, along with their overall mental state and behavior, so it is safe to say that any event that would normally be accomplished through digestion and the need to excrete waste is simply no longer necessary, or even possible, for walkers in The Walking Dead universe.

Will the Walkers decompose?

Yes, walkers will decompose over time. Like all organic matter, walkers are composed of elements derived from the Earth and its processes, such as carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, and nitrogen. When exposed to air and moisture, these elements break down and decompose.

This decomposition is aided by the action of living organisms, such as bacteria and fungi, that feed off the dead matter. When a walker dies, microbes found in the soil may feed off the matter and break it down into simpler compounds.

The breakdown of proteins and fats into smaller compounds and eventually into carbon dioxide, water, and minerals occurs over time. It can take months or even years for a walker to be fully broken down and returned to the environment.

How come walkers don’t eat each other?

Walkers do not eat each other because they do not have an instinctive need to hunt and consume other human flesh like they do with livestock. They are driven by the instinct to search for and consume living flesh but do not seek out other walkers, as they are not meat.

This is seen in the show The Walking Dead when, despite being in the same room as a walker, the characters do not feel the urge to eat them. This can be attributed to their nature – without the instinct to hunt and consume other humans, walkers simply have no interest in consuming human flesh, regardless of whether it comes from another walker or not.

This disinterest is likely due to the fact that walkers do not feel pain or pleasure, and therefore do not seek out food for the purpose of nourishment.

Can walkers starve?

Yes, walkers can starve. Just like any other living organism, if they don’t receive enough nutrients to sustain themselves, they can eventually starve and die out. Because walkers are undead, they are not consuming food like a regular human would, but they are still expending energy as they constantly roam in search of prey.

In order for a walker to become stronger and stay alive, it needs to feed on other living or recently deceased creatures in order to gain energy. Walkers may also become weak or even die if they don’t get enough sustenance from the corpses they feed on, as most of the energy from them soon dissipates over time.

As the walkers become weaker, they may no longer be able to search out food, eventually leading to them starving to death.

Why can’t the walkers smell the whisperers?

The Whisperers are a group of humans in the Walking Dead universe that have adopted a lifestyle similar to zombies (walking in herds, moaning and groaning instead of speaking). They wear dead skin as camouflage and disguise their scent from potential threats.

This means that the walkers, which have a heightened sense of smell compared to humans, are unable to detect their presence. The Whisperers’ use of clothing made from the skin of their deceased enemies turns them into something like zombies, allowing them to blend in with the walkers and hide from them.

The Whisperers are also able to mask their scents using herbs and mud, further disguising their presence from the walkers. This unique type of camouflage and scent-masking makes it nearly impossible for the walkers to detect their presence.

Why don t animals turn into zombies in The Walking Dead?

Generally speaking, animals are not featured in the television series The Walking Dead, and therefore do not turn into zombies. This is likely because of a combination of budget, story-telling and practicality.

While a number of television series have featured zombie animals, it can be expensive and difficult to create realistic special effects that keep viewers interested. Furthermore, there is simply no need to include animals in The Walking Dead as the show is able to tell its story with human characters alone.

The series follows the human survivors of a zombie apocalypse, and animals have no place in this narrative. Additionally, it is likely that furry animals such as cats and dogs would not be suitable for the show’s mood and dark tone – particularly since animals are typically seen in a more positive light than humans, which could disrupt the sense of constant danger and suspense the show usually maintains.
