Thor didn’t snap because he ultimately realized that doing so would not truly save the universe. While it was tempting to vote with Thanos and use the Infinity Stones to turn back time and undo what Thanos had done, Thor ultimately knew that this would only be a temporary solution.

He rightly feared that if he snapped his fingers to undo Thanos’s destruction, a new evil could come forward and cause even more destruction. So, instead of using the stones to restore the universe, Thor decided to use them to bring forward an even greater strength: the living embodiment of his own conviction and will to protect those he loves.

He called on the Stormbreaker axe, a weapon so powerful it can easily cut through even the strongest of substances, and used it to eliminate Thanos for good.

The suit was incredibly powerful, as it allowed Tony to fly, resist damage from multiple attacks, project holograms, and use energy blasts to fight his enemies.

It was also self-repairing, meaning that the suit assisted Tony when needed. This armor was immensely powerful and allowed Tony to travel through time and save the universe from the mad titan, Thanos.

Why couldnt they snap Tony back?

Unfortunately, the Infinity Stones, which were used to snap away half of all life in the universe, including Tony Stark, could not be used to reverse the effects of the snap. This process could not be reversed, as it had permanently altered the fundamental structure of the universe.

The only way to bring everyone back who had been snapped away was to sacrifice another life in order to bring back the ones that had been snapped away. Tony Stark could not be snapped back into existence because the Infinity Stones no longer existed, having been destroyed at the conclusion of Avengers: Infinity War.

As a result, there was no way to undo the damage caused by Thanos with the Infinity Stones.

In order to bring back the ones that had been snapped away, the universe’s remaining heroes needed to take the fight to Thanos and defeat him. This was done in Avengers: Endgame where they traveled back in time and managed to acquire the Infinity Stones again, thereby undoing the damage caused by Thanos.

However, this did not enable them to bring back Tony Stark, as he had already died in the process of using the Infinity Stones to bring back everyone who had been snapped away.
