Is it OK to drink coffee during bodybuilding?

Some body builders may find that coffee can help increase their energy levels and help them focus and thus may be beneficial for their goals. However, coffee can also increase the body’s stress levels and disrupt the body’s natural balance of hormones if consumed in excess.

Additionally, when body building, individuals should be mindful of their caffeine intake as it can interfere with sleep and nutrient absorption. Thus, if drank in moderation, drinking coffee can arguably be beneficial for body building as it can help with focus and concentration.

However, if an individual decides to indulge in coffee for bodybuilding, it is important to keep your intake in moderation and to consider factors such as the amount of caffeine per serving, the type of caffeine ingested, and the amount of fat, sugar, and other added ingredients.
